The addition of a certain amount of lithium salt additive to the anode is one of the research approaches to reduce the excessive consumption of the anode. This method can suppress the oxidation-reduction reaction of the anode in the electrolysis cell with O2, CO2 gas and reduce the excessive consumption of the carbon anode. In addition to the determination of the amount of material to be added, the location of the addition, and the development of a feeding device, the engineers and technicians have also passed several experiments to break through the technical problems of unstable and discontinuous feeding. On July 29, the company successfully developed the first lithium salt anode. To date, the company has produced 550 lithium salt anodes with a pass rate of 99.31%.
