It is widely used in the production of cement, silicate products, new building materials, refractory materials, fertilizers, black and non-ferrous metal dressings and glass ceramics, dry or wet grinding of other ore grindable materials. Any of the above three methods can greatly increase the output of the ball mill. Of course, if the factory conditions permit, the above three methods are used together, and the effect is the most ideal. This is also the trend of domestic and international grinding system design in recent years. The relationship between the three: the premise of fine grinding before grinding, the selection of powder after grinding to ensure that the internal transformation of the grinding is fundamental. The fine crushing before grinding makes the particle size of the grinding material greatly reduced, thereby reducing the load of the grinding system; the efficiency of the powder selection is improved, and the most direct benefit is that the fine powder of the finished product is selected in the maximum amount in time, reducing the powder return rate of the cement product and reducing the load of the ball mill; And the grinding inside the transformation, it is the improvement of the grinding system, the most fundamental solution. The particle size of the grinding material is reduced, and the efficiency of the powder selection is improved. If the efficiency of the grinding system is low, the impact is not only the output of the ball mill, but also the quality of the cement.

1.2 Cement quality problems

The quality of cement, from the grinding process alone, is not directly related to the efficiency of crushing and pre-grinding. There are generally two cement quality inspection indicators in China: cement sieve residual specific surface area. However, in recent years, the international cement quality inspection index is cement particle grading, and this index is more reflective of the cement quality than the concrete surface area. This point has already attracted the attention of cement workers in China. Generally speaking, cement particles, particles less than 3μm hydrated faster, which is not conducive to the long-term strength of cement, it is recommended not to exceed 10%; particles larger than 65μm are basically inactive, preferably not; 16-24μm particles have the highest activity. There are cement plants that produce limestone. Limestone is not active, purely a filler, but it can improve the particle grading of finished cement products.

After the implementation of the new cement standard, the practical value of the cement sieve residual value is not significant. The new standard places more emphasis on specific surface area, while there are no specific requirements for cement particle grading.

To implement the new cement standard, it is necessary to greatly improve the quality of cement products, and further accelerate the elimination of backwardness, promote market competition, and integrate with international cement standards, and prepare for the integration of the cement industry into the international market after China's accession to the WTO. In this way, how to improve the quality of cement production in China's cement plants, especially small cement plants, has become an urgent problem to be solved.

There are many ways to improve the quality of cement production. Adjusting the raw material blending scheme, changing the firing process, strengthening equipment management, etc., all need to be solved by the production cement unit, and it may be researched and improved for a long time.
