At present, the products have been mass-produced, the technology is advanced, and the quality is stable. It has been used in units such as Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Group and Qinghai West Magnesium Industry Co., Ltd. The comprehensive technology has reached the international advanced level.
“Development and Application of Silicon Refractory Slurry for Large-scale Coke Ovensâ€: The silicon refractories such as coke oven silica bricks are the leading products of Sinosteel fire-resistant products. Over the years, they have led the production and technology of domestic products of this type and have met such large scales as Baosteel. Coke ovens are produced and exported in large quantities. The project addresses the problems of siliceous mud for large-scale coke ovens, studies the effect of the material ore phase on the life of the coke oven, optimizes the process recipes, and adjusts the different mineral compositions of the mud, so that the product mineral phase is consistent with the silica bricks. The thermal expansion is compatible with the silica bricks, which ensures that the mud has good bonding performance and performance under high temperature. The product has been batch-produced and its performance is stable. It has been applied in many projects such as Coopers Indonesia Coking and Baotou Steel Coking. This project is supported by the production of large-scale coke oven silica bricks in Sinosteel Refractory Company, laying a good foundation for future expansion of domestic and foreign markets. The comprehensive technology of this project has reached the international advanced level.
