(2) Sprout suppression treatment: In order to inhibit the germination of the potato, it can be treated with a chemical drug. One method is to spray the plants in the field with a concentration of 0.2% of fresh greens two weeks before harvesting; the other method is to store 200-250 grams of naphthalene acetic acid per 5,000 kilograms of potatoes, 7.5-1.5 kg. The fine soil is made into a powder and sprinkled on the potatoes.
Second, potato storage management measures
(1) Initial stage: When the potato block is first introduced into the sputum, it enters the callus period, and should maintain a relatively high temperature of 10 to 15 ° C and a relative humidity of 80% to 90%. In the early stage, due to the vigorous respiration of potato tubers, a large amount of water vapor is released, which tends to promote the decay of potato tubers. It is necessary to pay attention to ventilation to prevent heat from growing.
(2) Winter: When the temperature drops significantly, pay attention to antifreeze. Keep the temperature at 1 to 2 °C. It is easy to freeze below 0 °C, and it is easy to germinate above 5 °C. If the temperature exceeds 2 ° C, it should be properly ventilated. Try to avoid picking potatoes in winter. When taking the potato, avoid the large amount of cold air entering, and freeze the potato blank.
(3) Spring: After the spring warms up, the heat release of the potato block is strengthened, and the external heat is gradually entered. To prevent germination, it should be properly ventilated. Step up to control the temperature rise. When the outside temperature is higher than the temperature, the mouth and vents should be closed during the day and the ventilation should be turned on at night.
