Zhangmu takes measures to focus on labor occupational health and safety

In response to the “Joint Action Plan for Safety Production Supervision and Supervision of Safe Production in 2012 in Guangdong Province”, on August 10, Zhangmutou held a joint action on administrative enforcement supervision of production safety. The town safety supervision, public security, human resources, quality supervision, social security, industry and commerce, trade unions and other departments participated in this action. During the operation, the inspection team went to the towns of Hong Kong Dragon Printing Factory and Taiyang Rubber & Plastic Products Co., Ltd. to inspect the occupational health and safety, occupational disease prevention and control of laborers in the production, operation and use of chemicals.

In the morning of the same day, the inspection team held an action coordination meeting to deploy the company's law enforcement supervision over occupational health and safety and occupational disease prevention in the production, management, and use of chemicals.

It is reported that this action mainly focuses on four aspects: whether the company's operating environment is qualified, whether labor protection equipment is complete, whether chemical hazards are pathogenic, and whether occupational health is declared. According to Chen Jianxin, head of the Zhangjiabu Town Safety Supervision Bureau, various departments must strengthen cooperation in dealing with occupational health issues and effectively supervise the occupational health and safety of enterprises in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the enterprises in my town. It is reported that based on factors involving many companies and extensive inspections, joint operations will continue until December this year.

Chen Jianxin also stated that after the occupational health supervision work is officially handed over to the township safety and supervision departments, occupational health supervision will become a trend and the legitimate rights and interests of employees will be further protected. Mr. Zhao, who has been working for 5 years, is an employee of the spray painting workshop of Taiyang Rubber Products. He has long been engaged in painting work and he pays special attention to occupational health issues. He was very pleased when he heard that employees' occupational health supervision work will gradually embark on standardization. “We are working outside and the rights and interests of employees are not guaranteed. Enterprises are not in the long-term. If local governments and enterprises pay attention to the rights and interests of employees, we are also willing to stay in the company.” He said.

It is understood that through inspections, the two enterprises in the town have already carried out occupational health declaration work. Gas detection in the operation workshop has basically met the standard, but there are still problems such as the incompleteness of the employee's medical examination file system. The inspection team issues a rectification notice to the company in response to the problem, and the inspection team will continue to track the implementation of the rectification work by the company.
