The US Commerce Department announced on the 21st that it will launch an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy merger investigation into China's steel products drill pipe. This is the first case of the US "double-reverse" investigation of China in 2010.

If both parties make a positive ruling, the US Department of Commerce can order Customs to impose anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties on related products.
