This binding agent has the problems of easy moisture absorption and agglomeration. It is difficult to mix and difficult to store for a long time. In this paper, the physicochemical properties of suspension-polymerized thermosetting phenolic resins were analyzed and compared using particle size analysis, infrared spectrum analysis, differential thermal analysis, weight loss analysis, and color contrast analysis. The application of the resin binder to diamond grinding wheels was performed. Grinding comparison test. Because the thermosetting phenolic resin binder has the characteristics of high strength, good heat resistance, fine particle powder, good dispersion flowability, and easy use, the test results show that the comprehensive performance and wear of the diamond grinding wheel developed with the suspension polymerization thermosetting phenolic resin binder. The cutting effect is better than the solution-polymerized thermoplastic phenolic resin binder diamond grinding wheel.
