Vitralit® UC6686 is an epoxy based one-component adhesive that cures quickly under UV light. It is very hard and scratch resistant and is suitable for use as a dome coating as well as decorative glass and plastic. Developed specifically for dome coatings, this glue is highly viscous and is suitable for automatic dispensing and precision patterning.
Once cured, Vitralit® UC6686 becomes very hard and scratch resistant, with high transparency and high surface gloss without yellowing. The glue has a very good adhesion to glass, plastic and metal and has been successfully applied to the decoration of glass perfume bottles.
The glue can be cured with both UV gas discharge lamps and UVLED lamps. By using Hönle's LEDSpot100 light source, a large area of ​​curing can be achieved at 365 nm and has good adhesion.
