When the fire separation cannot be achieved, a fireproof partition wall of more than 0.5m above the container and fire protection shall be constructed to reduce the fireproof distance to 1/2 of the above-mentioned provisions .

10. It is forbidden to open fire within 5m around the place where liquid oxygen is stored or vaporized , and all fire sources shall be eliminated. There shall be obvious signs of prohibition of fire.

11. Liquid oxygen storage and vaporization places shall not be open to low places ( such as basements, pits, wells, ditches ) within at least 5m around the place ;
