The current amount of vitamins used in actual production lacks sufficient experimental evidence, resulting in higher and higher levels of vitamins in livestock and poultry diets. Some vitamins in some premixes are added at levels more than 10 times the recommended value of NRC, resulting in an increase in feed costs. Therefore, the amount of vitamin added has become one of the most ambiguous problems in the field of poultry nutrition. In addition, there are few studies on the physiological and biochemical, nutrient, feeding and feed preparation techniques of ducks and ducks in China, and there is less research; the lack of scientific basis for feed preparation, resources Waste is serious. Vitamin B2 (VB2) is a low molecular organic compound that the animal itself cannot synthesize, and has various physiological functions. Zhang Jianhai et al reported that VB2 can improve the anti-infective ability and production performance of broilers to some extent. Tang Shuzhen et al reported that under the condition of high temperature stress, 28.8 mg/kg riboflavin group and control group (0 mg/kg) were added. The average daily weight gain of broilers aged 7 to 49 days was significantly increased (P<0.05). Previous studies have used pigs, broilers or rats as animal models, and ducks have not reported this. VB2 is an indispensable nutrient for ducks, which is directly involved in the complex biological oxidation process of the body. The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether VB2 has antioxidant and growth-promoting effects on egg ducklings and how much it can significantly increase the growth rate of ducklings, and to explore the appropriate VB2 levels in caged ducklings diets. Formulated to provide basic data and reference to better meet production needs and promote the development of the duck industry.
1 Materials and methods
1.1 Test Animals
The experiment used 288 Jinding egg ducklings of 1 day old and weighing [(43.13±1.19) g], which were randomly divided into 6 treatments, 6 replicates per treatment, 8 ducklings per replicate, each treatment. There was no significant difference in body weight analysis between the eggs and ducklings (P>0.05).
1.2 Feeding and Management
The test ducks were housed in a 3-layer overlapping egg duck cage. The whole test period is 4 weeks, and the duck house is well ventilated. The temperature control requirements during the test period are: 30 to 33 °C for 1 to 7 days, 28 to 30 °C for 8 to 14 days, and 24 to 15 to 21 days. 26 ° C, 21 to 28 ° C is 21 to 23 ° C. Free access to food and water.
1.3 Test diet and nutrient level
Before the test, the nutrient composition of various feed ingredients was determined. The corn-soybean-based basic diet was prepared according to the nutritional requirements of the Taiwan Society of Animal Husbandry (1993) and NRC (1994) nutritional standards. The specific formula and calculated nutrient composition can be found. Table 1. The test was divided into 6 treatment groups. The first group added VB2 to 0 mg/kg, the second group added VB2 to 4 mg/kg, the third group added VB2 to 6 mg/kg, and the fourth group added VB2 to 10 mg/kg. In kg, VB2 was added to the V group at 20 mg/kg, and VB2 was added to the V group at 50 mg/kg.
1.4 Determination of indicators and methods
Daily gain (ADG): At the beginning of the test, the initial weight of the test duck was weighed. On the 28th day, the weight of the test duck was weighed, the weight was weighed at 20:00, and the next day at 8:00 am, weighed for 12 h on an empty stomach. Make a detailed record. Calculate the average daily gain of the test duck.
Daily feed intake (ADFI): feed intake (g) / 28 = average daily feed intake per duck for 1 to 28 days.
Feed to weight ratio (FCR): average daily feed intake per 28 days per duck / average daily gain of 28 days = feed to weight ratio.
1.5 Data Processing
The data were analyzed by ANOVA method of SAS 8.0 software for variance analysis. The difference was significant for Duncan's multiple comparison analysis.
