How to install properly 1. The filter should be designed and installed before the pressure reducing valve to protect the pressure reducing valve and prolong its service life. Before installing the pressure reducing valve, the piping system must be flushed and cleaned to prevent fluxes, oxide scales, and other dirty materials from entering the valve and affecting the normal operation of the valve.
2. The stop valve should be set before the pressure reducing valve. It is generally installed in front of the filter to cut off the water source during maintenance. In order to ensure the normal maintenance of the product and uninterrupted water supply, a parallel installation method should be adopted. At this time, stop valves should be installed before and after the pressure reducing valve.
3. The filter should be used with a 40 mesh filter when using liquids, and a 80 mesh filter should be used for gases.
4. If the pressure gauge is set before and after the pressure reducing valve, the distance between the pressure gauge and the inlet or outlet end of the pressure reducing valve shall be maintained at 5 DN or more.
5. When used in gas, use a dilation tube because of the volume expansion behind the pressure reducing valve. The outlet piping should be large.
6. When using liquid, use straight pipe as far as possible. The length of straight pipe should be 10~20 times of the valve diameter (minimum 500mm)
7. Pressure relief valve outlet should be set up soft joints and drains for easy installation and maintenance.
8. The failure of the pressure reducing valve in the pipeline is mainly caused by foreign matter, so the pipeline should be fully cleaned (about 30 minutes) before the fluid passes through the pressure reducing valve.
9. The pressure relief valve can be installed vertically or horizontally as shown in the figure. During installation, attention should be paid to the direction of the pressure relief valve entering and exiting the water. It should not be reversed.
