Su Guijun, director of the China Building Materials Planning Institute, reviewed the development of the stone industry during the 12th Five-Year Plan period. He said that in 2015, the national stone output reached 1.017 billion square meters, with an average annual growth rate of 22.9%, which is 27% higher than the planned target. Among them, the output of granite is 669 million square meters, with an average annual growth rate of 16.8%, and the planning target is achieved; the output of marble plates reaches 348 million square meters, with an average annual growth rate of 29.6%, which is 26.6% higher than the planned target. The fixed asset investment of the whole industry reached 222.2 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 31.4%. The national stone enterprises above designated size have a main income of 446.8 billion yuan and a total profit of 36.2 billion yuan, an average annual increase of 16.6% and 18.6%.
Despite this, during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, there are still many problems in the development of China's stone industry. For example, the pace of development is slow, there are few large international enterprises, the industrial concentration is low, the low-level production capacity is growing too fast, and the homogenization competition is serious. , resource destruction and waste, etc., these problems have still not been fundamentally resolved.
From the forecast of the Planning Institute, from 2016 to 2020, the growth rate of China's stone products will decrease, and will maintain growth of around 8%. The product demand structure will continue to upgrade, personalized, diversified products, and the overall solution decoration. Parts will grow rapidly.
Of course, during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, there will still be many challenges, such as the contradiction between economic development and resources and environment; labor cost issues; the critical period of supply-side reform, focus on where to focus and international competition.
In this regard, the Planning Institute put forward the principles of innovation-driven, green development, industrial agglomeration development, structural adjustment and optimization, integrated development, and international development. To achieve 2020, the industry scale, structural adjustment, technological progress, comprehensive utilization of resources, energy conservation and environmental protection of the stone industry have reached the expected target.
In addition, in order to allow these goals to be achieved, the Planning Institute proposes to give full play to the role of the government and industry organizations, strengthen industry guidance and management; foster innovative environment; promote the development of stone finance; accelerate the development of stone home improvement market; strengthen personnel training; strengthen policy docking and promotion Regional economic development.

Industry voice to improve resource utilization and cultivate leading enterprises

Liu Yuwen, secretary-general of Hubei Stone Industry Association, suggested that enterprises should improve resource utilization, cultivate more leading enterprises, closely strengthen the relationship between the association and leading enterprises, and reverse the situation that China's stone industry is not strong.
Liu Zhen, vice president of China Stone Association and president of Yunfu Bluestone Association, said that although there are few large-scale enterprises in Yunfu, and most of them are re-production and light sales, he believes that this feature is becoming more and more refined in stone development. The stage may take more advantages, and Yunfu Stone Industry may have to make specific plans for this.
Mr. Yue Yuejin, party secretary and deputy general manager of Black Cyclone Saw Industry Co., Ltd. believes that the “13th Five-Year Plan” of the stone industry should have clearer and clearer paths and objectives, such as the specific development direction of each region and the number of large enterprises to be developed. . Sun Cunwen, deputy director of the Xinjiang Building Materials Management Office, also believes that the plan should clarify the direction of base construction and local key construction, strive for government support, and clearly plan for the elimination of enterprises.
Stone products to achieve standardized customization perspective
Zhou Xiaozun, Secretary General of Nantong Stone Association and Chairman of Zhizun Building Materials, combined with the development of the company, put forward the viewpoint of product standardization and customer customization. He believes that the home improvement market is now an important direction for the development of the stone industry. Consumers and even designers are still not very satisfied with the stone. They generally think that the home of stone is too complicated to be shipped, and this misunderstanding is actually the stone enterprise itself. As a result, companies want to close the distance with consumers, should take the initiative to simplify the various links. In addition, the company can improve the material utilization rate through scientific and rational design during the processing.
Guo Jingwei, secretary general of the Fujian Stone Industry Association, proposed to add artificial stone enterprises to the planning. The construction of industrial parks should be the focus of the “13th Five-Year Plan”, and industry associations should play more roles.
