Analysis of Economic Operation of Detergent Industry in the First Half of 2010

In the first half of 2010, under the influence of a series of policies such as the expansion of domestic demand and the adjustment and revitalization of light industry, the detergent industry has seen a steady increase in production and sales, and the product structure has been optimized. At the same time, external demand has recovered and exports have also shown a growth trend. Despite the emergence of a series of influencing factors such as the appreciation of ***, high fluctuations in raw material prices, and fierce market competition, the industry still achieved a 10.22% sales margin.

1. The output value has been steadily increasing, and the product structure tends to be optimized. From January to June 2010, there were 456 enterprises above designated size in the detergent industry, and the total industrial output value was 54.55 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.94%. From the monthly output value, the output value in March Peaks appear, in line with the history of industry fluctuations.

In the first half of the year, a total of 3.917 million tons of detergents were produced, an increase of 10.23% over the same period of last year. Soap production reached 443,000 tons, which was equivalent to last year, but the proportion decreased; the output of synthetic detergents was 1,774,400 tons, which was comparable to that of the same period of last year. The cumulative growth of 51,800 tons; liquid detergent to complete the output of 1,689,300 tons, a cumulative increase of 301,100 tons (Table 1), the ratio of liquid detergent and synthetic detergent gradually narrowing the gap. Among them, the production and proportion of liquid detergents have increased rapidly, and liquid detergents have become the main force driving the increase in the output of detergents and the optimization of product structure.

From the perspective of production distribution, it is mainly concentrated in East China and South China. The total output of Guangdong, Zhejiang, Anhui, and Sichuan accounts for about 60% of the country's total output.

2. Steady increase in sales, stable production and sales ratio for the period from January to June, total sales value of 51.17 billion yuan for industrial enterprises in the detergent industry, a cumulative increase of 16.2% year-on-year, cumulative production and sales rate of 93.8%, due to the holiday (Spring Festival) factors The sales value of sales in February was 6.46 billion yuan, and the remaining months were about 9 billion yuan. In March, the sales value reached 9.47 billion yuan, and the highest rate of production and sales in May was 96.6%. While the sales volume has steadily increased, there has been no excessive production and sales rate, indicating that there is not enough market demand.

3. Analysis of the trend of production and sales In the first half of the year, the production and sales of the industry basically conformed to the historical laws, the industry showed a trend of steady development, and the product structure gradually adjusted. Due to the acceleration of urbanization in China, the renewal of consumption concepts, and the increase in product promotion, the output of liquid detergents has increased rapidly, and the industrial structure of the industry is more in line with the development direction of low carbon, environmental protection, and energy conservation.
